AoW Dynasty is doomed?

I have read on Chinese site that today Snail Game announced new Android/iOS AOW version called 九阴真经3D (Age of Wushu 3D probably). AoW Dynasty is still a fresh game, but that might be the end for it. I think Snail with this game is aiming more than we think. They want to make Android market a mainstream and they are releasing android consoles and android laptops and tablets quite soon. So this game might be not only competition to AoW dynasty but AoW itself. But what do you think guys? Is Snail doing great releasing so many AoW version so often instead making one great cross platform game?

But it uses new engine and whole game is re-programmed. But maps and buildings might be taken from original AoW which I dont mind. It's still hard to think that game like this is coming to tablet/phone market. Not all devices will run this thing ofc but it's still amazing. In china android is quite popular mobile OS and if this and few other programs comes to android then I will switch to Remix OS.

Yeah i saw that too.
I'm afraid that they would let AOWD dieing slowly... Coz we didn't see any fix about unbalanced things we reported for months, and other bugs like 128/128 shards etc...
Coz we all know that the last patch is only made for spending gold!!!

Yes, exactly. Things are still out of balance, because game is still fresh and now they will start working on new game and probably will split current team into 2 teams - for AOWD and AOW3D. AOWD still gonna be more active for a while, since is not that demanding game as AOW3D, but eventually AOW3D will replace it. I think, AOWD was a budget game, which didn't need much of investment, because it's simply redone Taichi Panda game. But AOW3D in other hand gonna be AAA android game, with a lot of investment. I'm sure they already invested a lot of money on their new Flexi II engine.G game development will be time consuming as well, because I imagine it's gonna be pretty big game. Still Snail said it's first beta gonna come out this year, so probably english version will come about next year.

Yup, it seems about it. Snail as always want to be #1 in their genre games. For now we don't have much info about AOW3D. But I saw question survey on 17173 to help improve the game and what features people want to see in the game. Would be nice to see not class based game like AOWD but like original AOW. It would give more freedom for player. But who knows how the game will turn out. Still I'm excited about this game.
